As Guild presidential candidates and their supporters are preparing for the upcoming guild elections, the management of Makerere University has issued a sound warning about breaching of COVID-19 ministry of health SOPs.
The warning was made by the University Dean of Students Ms. Winifred Kabumbuli after noticing that the SOPs are being breached in the ongoing electoral activities.
With the big number of students at the hill, she emphasized that whoever will be caught violating the SOPs will be sanctioned.

A total of 11 students have shown interest in becoming the 87th Guild President of Makerere University.
This year’s elections will take place on the 12th November 2021.
