Makerere University, through the Office of the Academic Registrar, has extended the registration deadline for semester one, 2023/2024 academic year.
The new deadline for registration has been revealed as 31st October, 2023. This implies that students have more time to iron out their issues that would hamper the registration procedures.
“This is to inform the students’ community that the deadline for registration for semester 1, 2023/2024 academic year which was Friday 29th September, 2023 has been extended to Tuesday 31st October, 2023 to enable all students finalize the registration formalities,” a memo read.
It should be noted that the online registration cycle will be closed on that very day (31 October, 2023).
Once registered, each student will be able to print the financial statement and examination permit which shall be used to access examinations for semester one 2023/2024 academic year.
The Academic registrar has implored college/school registrars to provide students with guidelines/instructions for registration and handle all registration related matters before the deadline.
