Dr Nyanzi who is on remand at Luzira Prison is facing charges of cyber harassment and offensive communication against president Museveni.
Dr Swizen Kyomuhendo, a lecturer in School of Social Sciences has also been dismissed over acts prejudicial to proper performance of official duties on the University’s image or status.
