The Office of the Academic Registrar Makerere University has released guidelines to graduates seeking to verify and/or certify their academic documents.
The documents include Transcripts and certificates for fellows that graduated from the great hill.
Organizations seeking verification on academic documents issued by Makerere University are advised to follow similar procedures.
Certification
For one to have their documents certified, the following steps will be followed;
- Presenting your original Academic documents (Transcript & Certificate)
- Photocopies of the Academic documents you wish to certify
- Proof of Payment for certification (3,000/= per copy)
- Submit the above to Senate Building, Level 5, Room 513
Verification
For one to have their documents verified, the following steps will be followed;
- Proof of verification payment of Ugx: 50,000/=
- A letter addressed to the Academic Registrar requesting for verification
- Copies of the Academic documents that you wish to verify
- Submit the above to Senate Building Room 601
