According to the presidential advisor on youth affairs Jennifer Namutebi Nakangubi alias Full Figure, Makerere university is one of the leading spreading centers of HIV. Full figure asserts that Makerere students engage in countless sexual activities with many partners hence spreading the virus.
In a hot debate with pastor Martin Ssempa of Makerere community church on Bukedde tv’s full blast, Fully Figure mooted her concern. Responding to pastor Ssempa who asked if she has been to Makerere before, Fully Figure claims not to see the value of being at Makerere when its the leading source of HIV in Uganda.
Full Figure claims there is a lot of immorality as well as criminality at Makerere. Pastors such as Ssempa, according to her, have failed their duties as religious leaders if they cannot deal away with such vices in their own communities.
However what remains true is the fact that there is high level of sexual immorality in higher institutions of learning. Makerere university not being an exemption. On realization that sexual immorality such as fornication is inevitable, most institutions of learning advise learners to have protected sex since they are already of age.
