Makerere University Ladies Sweat and Jump Fences as Eastern and Western Gates Remain Closed

Makerere University closed all entrances into the university except the main entrance point as a measure to stay vigilant after the twin bombing that left the entire country in shock.

Students at Makerere were thus forced to sweat the walk to main gate in order to access university premises.

As some walked all the way from Kikoni, kikumi kikumi and Wandegeya to the main gate , some ladies and gents decided to play ‘Jet li’ in order to exit and enter into the university.

This was due to the security that was camping at Eastern and Western gates’ entry points to block students from getting in.

In pictures captured by Campus bee drones, Makerere university students are seen jumping their way out of the university using an illegal path between Western gate and the bushy entrance point beside the football pitch opposite MISD.

Its not yet clear on when other gates will be reopened for use but we certainly know that by the time of reopening, Makerere university students will have cut some weight as result of the tiresome walk to the main gate.
