For the past years, students were wondering if at all there was a single building with a functioning lift at the whole university despite their length, and the answer seemed to be no.
All the tall buildings at the ivory tower, have a provisional space for lifts (elevators) but plans to refurbish them seemed to have went futile.
The library’s lift is located just opposite the main entrance at the extension block, a few paces away behind the reception.
It has been designed to ease movements from the ground floor to the fourth level where the staircase ends.
By press time, the library users however had not yet fully utilized the new lift with thoughts it was for only the management.
“Can we as well use it or it is for only the management?” One of the students asked.
