Makerere University has registered another death of one of its students, who becomes the third student to die in a period of less than three weeks.
Bagenda Joshua, a third year student of medicine and surgery and resident is Mitchell hall is the latest to be reported dead.
Bagenda succumbed to sickle cell anemia at Mulago hospital where he had been admitted on Wednesday, according to a communication from the deceased college.
The college of health science has condoled with the bereaved family and prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace.
Burial arrangements for the deceased had not yet been released by press time.
Makerere University lost two students at the end of last month; Achola Patricia and Ssenkubuge Elvis.
May their souls rest in peace.
