Makerere University NUP Chapter Kickstarts Electoral Reforms, Aim for Another Guild President Win

The Makerere University – National Unity Platform (NUP) chapter President Mbusa Joseph has revealed comprehensive plans for red party at the hill including a ploy to keep the Guild Presidency in their corner. The current Guild President of Makerere University is a signatory of Robert Kyagulanyi’s NUP.

The University NUP chapter has embarked on structural reforms. Through the recently constituted ad hoc committee, Mr Mbasu and company invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacancies of school and hall delegates.

At its’s last meeting, the leadership committee resolved that each hall shall be represented by two delegates and a single delegate for each school. The role of the delegates shall include but not limited to voting for the NUP card bearer in the forthcoming guild elections, mobilize for the party at their relevant constituencies and much more.

“Interested candidates should submit their details as indicated in the letter attached here in on the email below before closure of business, Wednesday, 13th 2021, ” the communique read.
