Makerere University through the office of the academic registrar has today, Wednesday 25th March announced the commencement of applications for the 2020/2021 undergraduate intake on private sponsorship.
The said program is slated to commence in August this year for both direct and diploma entries.
For the direct entry, students are required to posses at least two principal passes at Advanced Level (UACE) obtained at the same sitting and a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five passes.
For the day programmes, students who completed UACE in 2019, 2018 and 2017 are the only ones eligible and for other study programmes including evening and weekends all students are free to apply.
For the diploma entry, one is required to have at least a second class diploma from a required field and for International students, they are required to have equivalents to the UCE, UACE or Diploma in the required field from recognized institutions.
Applications will be done online through for direct entry and for Diploma/Degree holders and internationals, hard copies have to be submitted at the institution.
Applications will stop on Thursday 30th April, 2020.
