Makerere University Opens Applications for 2021/2022 Academic Year, Here’s How to Apply

Makerere University, through the office of the academic registrar has opened a call for applications for the academic year 2021/2022.

With a number of colleges and faculties that offer courses ranging from computing, sciences, humanities and many more, A Level applicants can now start applying to secure a slot in the incoming academic year.

How to Apply

First of all, an applicant is required to possess a valid email address, a working phone number and stable internet throughout the process.

If the user doesnot have an account, they can create one as follows (watch the video):

After creating the account, follow the steps below to apply:

1. Visit https://apply.mak.ac.ug/ and login with the credentials created in the previous steps
2. You will be presented with a list of the RUNNING SCHEMES. Choose your preferred scheme and click on APPLY NOW.
3. Fill the form shown as instructed, taking note of the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) and when done, click on Save. You can always resume your application at any one time. (see video below for detailed explanation)
