Makerere University is calling for applicants under private sponsorship scheme for undergraduate programmes for the Academic year 2022/2023.
All applications are to be submitted online except for Diploma, Degree holders, and internationals who will have to submit certified copies of their transcripts, certificates and passport size photographs to Office 315 and 316 level three at Senate building.
The deadline for submission is Friday, July 29, 2022.
According to the call made by the university’s academic registrar, admissions are open from those who finished A’ level, Diploma holders, graduates, and those having mature age Certificate for 2021/2022 or 2022/2023 academic years.
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) holders should have attained at least five passes, or it’s equivalent and at least two principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
The admissions for these particular students on day programmes have been restricted to only those who sat A’ level in 2020, 2019 and 2018. However, evening, afternoon, and external programmes are not restricted on the year one sat for their A’ level.
At the time of application, Diploma holders and graduates however, should have copies of their transcripts and certificates from recognized chartered institutions relevant to the programme applied for.
All applicants are entitled to pay shs. 50,000 for the application in any bank used by Uganda Revenue Authority.
