Makerere University Dean of students, Winfred Kabumbuli has guided resident students on new accommodation arrangements ahead of students’ return to campus premises.
The Dean communicated the following new accommodation arrangements as approved by University Management;
- Saturday, 05th February, 2022 all students on Health, Veterinary Sciences, Architecture, Engineering and Agriculture will return to their Halls of attachment or respective private Hostels for physical presence (face to face on campus).
- Year two, continuing students and finalist will be on ODEL-E Learning for 5weeks.
- Wardens should encourage all staff and students in their respective Halls of Residence to be vaccinated.
- The process to pay Food & Living out Allowances for Government sponsored students is ongoing for those whose Bank details are correct.
- As students return, everybody, whether in Halls of Residence or Hostels is strongly urged to strictly follow the SOPs for prevention of spread of Covid-19.
