Makerere University Academic Registrar, Prof. Alfred Masikye Namaoh [the new Academic Registrar was appointed after Prof Masikye’s contract expired. the New Mak academic Registrar is Prof Buyinza Mukadasi]chas released the academic timelines leading to the 73rd graduation ceremony scheduled for February 2023.
According to the communication, the 73rd graduation ceremony will be held from Feb 13-17, 2023.
The academic registrar added that marking and loading of results is scheduled for September 5 to October 29, 2022.
The College Academic Board meetings will then proceed from Nov 1, to 11th 2022.
Display of graduation lists in Colleges is set for Nov 14 to Dec 2.
After that, there will be submission of graduation lists to the Academic Registrar starting from December 5.
A special Senate meeting will then be held on Dec 13, 2022 to approve the graduation lists and results.
The first draft of the Graduation Booklet will be out on Jan 3, 2022 with the final booklet printed on Jan 10, 2023.
This will be followed by picking of the graduation materials from Jan 24, to Feb 4, 2023.
Finally, the 73rd graduation ceremony be held between 13th to 17th February, 2023.
