Sad news from Makerere University involves a second-year student in the names of Byomuhangi Victor who died yesterday after a short illness. Byomuhangi has been pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physical) at CoNAS.
As preparations for his final send-off are underway, a requiem mass for Byomuhangi has been scheduled to take place today Friday, 22nd June 2018 at St. Francis Chapel, Makerere University. More details indicate that the mass kicked off at 1 pm to enable his fellow science students and the entire Makerere University to pray for his soul.
Information regarding his cause of death is still scanty but we will keep you posted!
