Makerere University is mourning the loss of one of its students, Arishaba Talent, a Second-Year Valuation student in the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), who tragically lost her life in a road accident on her way to campus today.
The news of her passing has cast a cloud of sorrow over the University community, with students, staff, and friends expressing shock and grief at the sudden loss of a young life full of promise. Arishaba Talent was part of the Valuation programme at CEDAT and was described by peers as dedicated and focused on her studies.
University management and the Makerere community extend their heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, classmates, and the entire CEDAT fraternity during this difficult time.
As the University comes to terms with this tragic incident, students and members of the public are urged to keep Arishaba’s family in their thoughts and prayers.
