Makerere University has asked all resident students to vacate the halls of residence by mid-day on Monday, September 5, 2022.
According to a letter issued by the Dean of Students Ms. Winifred Kabumbuli, the semester ends on September 4, and no students should be expected at the halls on Monday,
“Semester two will end on Sunday, 4th September, 2022, all students are expected to vacate the halls of residence by mid-day of 5th September, 2022,” the Dean of Students noted.
She added that all students with recess term should move to halls allocated for their accommodation. The male students are to reside in Lumumba hall whereas their female counterparts are to stay at Mary Stuart hall.
Makerere University will open for semester I 2022/2023 academic year on Saturday 1st October, 2022 and end on Sunday, 15th January, 2023.
