Makerere University students have this morning gone on strike protesting the ‘unfair’ and ‘unjust’ treatment of their fellow students- who were expelled, for among other things, damaging university property.
The fifteen Makerere students were suspended for ‘stealing’about 200 forks and damaging the university’s property, inciting violence and destroying property worth millions, during a protest against what they called poor meals.
