A few days ago, a couple of year two journalism and communication students from the Makerere University carried sacks of happiness and excitement to the prestigious NTV studios (Don’t worry they were not assuming, this story ends differently).
Mutesi Hadijah and her pack of three raised eyebrows as a few pictures of them standing and getting overwhelmed at the NTV live at one studio circulated through the media like fire on gasoline.
Hadijah successfully porched the studio room like she owned the place. And for just a moment she did. She was the spotlight at NTV looking like an anchor on the job. Waiting for the words, “ We are live in four -three -two-one”
It must have been the grey attire or the fact that she looked like the actual Sandra Twinoburyo at work that left goggly eyes thinking maybe she could be the next bullet NTV will fire at the rising competition. Maybe even the face of NTV.
In one of the pictures, one of my favorites of the two …Hadijah is seen over whelmed with excitement as she sits on the same seat that grounds record breaking anchors such as Sandra Twinoburyo.
To say dreams come true will be an understatement…fingers crossed though. One could say; keep watch of the space, this might be the next household name.
