Makerere University’s Roy Rugumayo and Noella Juach Awal have graduated days after welcoming their first born child.
The duo that has been working hard both on the sheets and in class will be taking home good news to their barely two weeks old baby.
Roy and Noella graduated on Friday May 27th, 2022 at Makerere University’s 72nd graduation ceremony.
The former graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology and the latter attained a bachelor’s degree in community psychology.
The duo recently welcomed its first born child to whom they baptized Jace Rugumayo.
Rugumayo has proven to the world that he is indeed a Jack of all trades and master of all, defying the stereotype that one cannot balance academics with social and political life.
Rugumayo currently serves as the Vice president Uganda National Students Union and general secretary at UNSA while his baby mama served as the 86th vice guild president at Makerere University.
The two (Roy and Noella) were among the 12,474 graduands that graduated at Makerere University’s 72nd graduation ceremony.
