The president of the republic of Uganda on Wednesday 18th March banned all public gatherings as a key factor to fight COVID-19. This included churches too and most of them resorted to online prayers.
Makerere University earlier on today announced the St. Francis Chapel Easter Sunday service that will be streaming live tomorrow on their official Facebook page. It will be led by Rev. Onesmus Asiimwe starting at 11am E.A.T.
This is the first time in Ugandan history for such Easter prayers to be held online whereas others will use television and radio channels.
“Makerere University” is the Facebook page that will be broadcasting the prayer service. You can also follow this link incase you fail to find the page; https://www.facebook.com/Makerere/
Here at Campus Bee we wish you a happy easter holiday.
