Makerere University’s newly elected guild president H.E. Ssentamu Churchill James has released the full list of members he has appointed to serve as ministers on the 91st guild government.
The appointed ministers were sworn in on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 by the Dean of students Dr. Winifred Kabumbuli.
The members include Kadondi Gracious who was appointed as Vice President, Nsobya Hannington as Prime minister, Akankunda Rhinah as minister for information, Julius Kiganda as academic minister and Nkurunziza Precious as deputy prime minister.
Other members include Ssekabira Joseph, Hunghuna Edmond, Aisha Farouq, Aniku Anthony, Keinembabazi Comfort, Bbosa Sharif, Sagati Leticia Okurut, Akankunda Donitah, Aggrey Bazirake, and Elijah Ajak Bul.
The 91st guild cabinet takes over from Vincent Lubega Nsamba’s 90th government.
Ssentamu Churchill James was elected guild president during the institution’s guild polls held in March this year. Ssentamu beat National Unity Platform’s Ismail Basalirwa and NRM’s John Baptist Rukundo.
