Makerere University has been beautifully decorated for the final centennial celebrations.
Excitement is allover Uganda’s premier University as the official centennial celebrations begin to take shape.
The president of Uganda HE: Yoweri Museveni and wife Ms. Museveni are expected to grace the occasion.
As of such, security has been tightened with many people being bounced at the institution’s entrance points.
Makerere University will also launch the centennial monument during the course of the final centennial celebrations.
Makerere University was founded in 1922, and the institution marks 100 years of existence today.
The institution that prides in grooming Africa’s best professionals has held quite a number of preparatory events for the d day.
The centennial celebrations are held under the theme: “Leveraging 100 years of excellence in building a transformed society.”
