Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) has joined the world to celebrate women this month.
The college has unveiled their female students who will be graduating with first class honors degrees ahead of the university’s 70th graduation ceremony expected to kick off on 17th May.
The college celebrates the beautiful brains that topped last year’s class after after their stay at Makerere for four years. According to a statement on Makerere’s social media platforms, the college is using March to celebrate these brilliant young ladies set to join job hunting.
“In this month, when the world celebrates women, The College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology also celebrates her female students who will be graduating with First Class Honors Degrees. The college is very proud of these brilliant young ladies. We thank you for having made CEDAT your home for the last 4 years and wish you the best as you embark on your new journeys.” The post reads.
The students include; Owino Shelah Ruth (Quantity surveying) who scored a 4.67 CGPA, Najjuuko Claire (Telecommunication Eng.) with a 4.63 CGPA, Tumwine Colette (Land Economics) scored a 4.57 CGPA, among others.
Others include; Nabacwa Veronica (Civil Engineering, 4.54CGPA), Denise Kabateizi Atuhaire (Electrical Engineering, 4.54), Karungi Prunella . N (Quantity surveying, 4.43 CGPA) and Nangoma Hidaya Nassali (Mechanical Engineering, 4.40).
