Makerere University Livingstone hall custodian has asked its residents that are not in their final year to evacuate the Hall, Campus Bee has learnt.
After President directed Ministry of Education and Sports to work with universities to devise means of reopening for final year students, preparations are ongoing and we are told these students shall report back to campus on June 6th.
Now, to create space for non-resident students, Livingstone Hall has directed the non finalists to give room for finalists that shall be residing in the “hall of gentlemen”. We are however not sure how this will be implemented since most students are home and have no access to their rooms.
“This is to request all Non-Finalist Resident students who left their property in the rooms, to remove their belongings before the finalists report back,” a letter that Campus Bee has received read.
“These rooms shall be occupied bu Finalist- Government Non- Resident students,” Livingstone Hall custodian noted.
