Makerere University guild electoral commission has released the 91st Guild Elections roadmap setting the pace for the forthcoming guild elections.
The release of the roadmap follows the dissolution of the 90th guild house by the dean of students Dr. Winifred Kabumbuli.
According to the roadmap released by the 91st E.C chairperson Mr. Murungi Joseph, the 91st Guild elections will be held on March 12th, 2024.
The call for nomination for aspirants will commence on February 13th running till February 15th, 2025.
According to the Makerere University guild statute 2022, Makerere University guild elections are meant to be held virtually. The elections will usher in the successor of the 90th guild president Lubega Nsamba.
