Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Makerere Chapter has called for expressions of interest from aspirants intending to carry the FDC flag in the 2024 Makerere guild polls.
The party announced Monday that applications are open and will close on January 31st, 2024.
Aspirants intending to run for guild presidency, GRC positions, Hall chairmanship and college guild council are encouraged to apply.
“We hereby call all our members intending to compete in the forthcoming 90th guild elections to inform us of their interest by filling in the link below. This shall serve as a ground for making firm preparations that will lead us to victory,” the chapter announced on X.
FDC becomes the first party to start the electoral process aimed at identifying Flagbearers for the 2024 guild polls. Other parties are yet to announce their roadmaps.
Makerere University students will elect new guild leaders this semester. The process will start with election of EC commissioners this Wednesday.
