Mbarara deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Moses Mufakinanye has promised to give free lipstick to ladies if he is elected as Makerere University’s guild president.
Mufakinanye said he will explain later to his voters why he has decided to offer lipstick despite the numerous issues that remain unresolved at Uganda’s Premier higher institution of learning.
“Every female student at Makerere will receive lipstick every semester if I am voted the Guild President,” the aspirant said on his X.
Mufakinanye, an affiliate of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) is among the those eyeing the 91st Makerere University guild presidential seat.
Other aspirants include NRM’s Rukundo John Baptist, NUP’s Ssentamu Churchill James and FDC’s Bumba Earnest.
