Mak’s Lillian Aber wins Uganda National Students Association presidential seat

After a full week of camping, today the 30th of January 2015 marks the end of the 27th annual Uganda National Students Association(UNSA) meeting. The meeting which was opened by its patron, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on 26th January was held in Soroti and it has ushered in the 2015/2016 National Executive Committee (NEC).  The elections were held on Thursday and Lilian Aber the guild vice president of Mak beat Sharon Nagenjwa a UCU represantive and Edgar Wandwasi Mulundu the Guild president of MUST to the Presidential seat. However, it was a tight scramble especially among the two ladies. With eleven offices all fully represented and occupied, Lillian is  to work with Julius Byaruhanga as her vice-president and other members on the cabinet are; Jack Benson as the speaker and Rebecca Kyogabirwe as the deputy, Aziz Mujujizi as the General secretary and Sandra Ahamya as the deputy, Evelyn Baijuka is the Secretary finance. Lilian follows in the foot steps of Abubaker Matanda of IUIU.
