Pursuant to the recent communication by the Dean of Students Cyriaco Kabagambe in an address to the Guild President and subsequent resignation by the Guild Prime Minister, Finance Minister and the Social Affairs Minister at Makerere University some few weeks ago, the need to fill the gaps and keep the body leadership running resulted in the appointment of some fresh and reshuffling of the current officials.
In a phone interview with Papa Were, the Guild President confirmed that they yesterday appointed Kinene Edward and Kamana Gerald Wabugoya as the Prime Minister and Finance Minister respectively. He further confirmed Matsiko Silver’s transfer to the office of Social Affairs and appointment of Job Namara to fill Silver’s shoes in the office of Estates and Environment in a reshuffle.
