In 2010, Ronald Magada alias Maro quit campus in his 3rd year which resulted to his de-registration from the 4th best University in Africa (read MUK). He was pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Development Studies.
Maro saw great potential in music so he decided to tap out in the final year of his studies. This caused a serious outrage between him and his father. Since then, the ‘rising star’ singer has been working extra hard to accrue tuition to get back to school. Today Morning, Maro broke good news that he had been re-registered by the Makerere University Academic Registrar, Charles Ssentongo and is ready to burn books again.
Here is what he posted on his facebook page:
“Finally M.U.K Registrar registered me this morning, Now Reading is the Thing Ehee
#maro in school #stayinschoolYoute!”
Let’s hope he won’t accumulate multiple retakes like those other celebrities! Goodluck Maro!
