Mbarara University Hosts 2016 UCC Conference

Mbarara University of Science and Technology in close conjunction with the Uganda Communications Communication (UCC) hosted the 4th National Conference on Communications (NCC) on the 15th and 16th of September 2016 at the university’s Kihumuro Campus in Mbarara.

The conference held under the theme ‘Linking Modern ICT’s National Development’ was presided over by the Minister of Information, Communications and Technology, Hon. Frank Tumwebaze, The Executive Director of the Uganda Communications Commission, Mr. Godfrey Mutabazi, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance & Admin) of MUST, Prof. Charles Kazooba amongst many others.

The conference attracted a wide spectrum of participants from both academia and industry. The conference was also spiced up by an exhibition of ICT prototypes.
