EXCLUSIVE: Mbarara University Students Run Out of Toilets

Students from the Faculty of Science at Mbarara University of Science and Technology have continuously shown their concern and demand of toilets since this year started. The F5 storey Science block initially had toilets on each and every floor of the block but these have now spent years without working and there were options of building toilets outside the block.

The 90M UGX toilet block which was constructed outside the block also stopped working and now the flash system dormant. Some students ease themselves in these toilets and leave the wastes on top as the flash system no longer works and it’s not only in the boys toilets but also in the girls’ too.

Besides toilets the science block also leaks and floods during the rainy season.
