Makerere University’s Mitchellex Bazaar that kicked off last Saturday 12th August has turned out to be a must attend campus event so far. The event holds various activities including eating competitions, dancing competitions, and various artists have reportedly been booked to attend everyday till 20th the event’s finale.

In a bid to make the shortened event wonderful, Makerere University has also booked NBS TV host MC Kats to headline the event as well as the Ebonies who are set to perform next Saturday 19th August alongside comedian Mariachi. However, we have been informed that entrance on 19th will not be completely free like other days and students are expected to pay 5K in order to watch this comedy.

The Mitchellex Bazaar is one of the events where Makerere freshers initiate contact with the continuing students as well as having a good time. It should be noted that Makerere University previously revealed that Mitchellex Bazaar will only last one week,  unlike the previous years where it took 14 days (two weeks).
