The government has released the national deployment list for all interns who applied for the year 2018/19.
These few professions of Midwifery, Pharmacy, Medicine are subjected to a mandatory one year of internship after their undergraduate course before they can be given a practicing license.
After months of waiting, the university graduands or finalists have been allocated internship centers in different hospitals around the country. The deployment process has been purely random because the interns were not given an opportunity to fill in their choice of internship centers.
According to the deployment list, 956 interns have been allocated internship in hospitals around the country. The interns have also discovered that the deployment list is full of errors as their courses do not match with their names while others lamented that they have been posted in foreign lands citing language barrier.
Internship is scheduled to start on 1st October 2018 and aside from wishing you the best, we anticipate that you will serve the nation for the better.
