Well, as most campusers go to school to acquire mere knowledge, skills and qualifications, other genius students passionately think out side the proverbial box, on how they can be self-employed after their studies. They focus more on how to be job creators other than job seekers. Couldn’t this be one better way of limiting unemployment among the youth?

So, today, we introduce to you a new awesome online TV show invented one month ago, by a one Makerere University graduate, Roland Tayebwa, aka Disaster; by names of ‘BWONGO SHOW’, that has currently gone viral on four major social media platforms.
This show was invented last month, in March. But as we talk, it has gone so viral on Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and the rest are watching it on YouTube. If you haven’t come across it, don’t worry, as usual, Campus Bee, got you sorted. You gotta watch it and enjoy.
In a brief interview with one of our moles, Roland said, “I had always wanted to appear on screen since my childhood, but didn’t know how. I loved watching myself on TV, but, I was certain about the stiff competition, among the several Televisions for someone to be their presenter/host. So, this inspired me to come up with my own idea”, he said.
He says he began slowly using his own smart phone to record himself and the person he hosted. “But, as for now, I have hired a mega camera that facilitates my works smoothly and efficiently,” he added.
“I came up with this idea way back while at University (he was a mitchell resident by the way). I, and my colleagues called it ‘Brain teaser’ game then. We could ask tricky questions that required simple answers. And from then, I was ambitious on pushing my dream further after my studies”, he revealed.
Bwongo show, is maximally a two-minute show, where, Roland, the host, asks two questions, and whoever is being hosted, has to answer the questions with in the shortest time provided. Does any of us remember the childhood mental work? Then, this is an extra-ordinary one. So spiced to the brim.
Alongside focusing onto giving prizes to whoever gets the answers right, Roland, has a team of other two members that he works with, and they’re partnering up to make him attain his dreams, and theirs, too. One is a production manager, and the other is a pubic relations manager.
“Apparently, the show isn’t paying yet, but I am looking forward to get sponsors that will facilitate my ambition-mission. And for the sake of ‘Bwongo show’ name, it resulted from Brains. Truly, this show is for the brain-steady fellows. And because I am proud Ugandan, I came up with Bwongo as the right name”, Roland revealed.
