At just 22 years, Phiona Ochola is destined to take over events organising, decoration and cake making in Kampala and Uganda. She is a go getter who goes beyond her limits to offer the best for her clients.
Phiona, who happens to be the CEO of Blaze Concepts Ug which started in 2016 believes it’s time for the new generation to take over events organising and decoration. The business-minded youngin studied from Makerere University Business School (MUBS) before diving into the events business.
With the ever fast changing trend, she is ready to keep up in offering quality and serene decoration to her clients. She says this has been helpful to her blossoming business and has helped her in maintaining the relationship with clients.
Phiona says her inspiration is drawn from the hardships she went through during her early years.
“I grew up from a poor family, I know nothing but hustle, and to look for money through working with my own hands. For the events companies I used to work for, I would get three thousand or no payment yet I was the one creating all the ideas that brought them money. I realized I was worth so I started up from zero” she said.
With a team of trusted and loyal staff that gives 100%, Ochola dreams to be the best events organiser in Kampala. She has a dream to achieve and with her passion and determination, she will make it.
