Captain Mike Mukula has today appeared before Buganda Road Chief Magistrate, Jamson Karemani to clear the air on the allegations that he was caught by his wife on 20th January 2014 in an extramarital affair with a Makerere University student called Rachael Naijuka.
According to Chimpreports, Mukula held tight the right hand of his wife and described her as the most faithful and loving person with whom they have been able to sustain a stable marriage for a period of 30 years.
Mrs Mukula further told court that in 2015 after the story came out; she met with the girl who during the conversations recognized her as the rightful wife of Capt. Mukula.
Further hearing of the matter has been adjourned to 3rd March 2017.
Mukula filed a libel suit before Buganda Road court accusing one of the local dailies in their issue dated 20th July 2014 of publishing false news information under the title ‘Wife warns Mukula Off MUK Gal,’ which the retired parliamentarian says was defamatory.
