Last Semester, the Dean of students, Margret Achen approved the beauty contest. It was clearly stated that the beauty pageant, for the first time would happen this semester. “She fully assented to our proposal and now she is letting us down. After approving it at first, now she claims that students will dress indescently. She has stopped the whole event from happening. This is a lot of time wasted, I am tired of this campus,” a student in the organising committee told this website.
Miss Gulu was meant to compete at national level during the Miss University beauty pageant that will happen this August.
