The Higher Education Students’ Financing Board(HESFB) is calling upon eligible applicants to apply for students’ loans for the academic year 2021/2022. The student loans are currently available for first year students and the latest inclusion having finalists as well.
Makerere university and MUBS released lists for government sponsored students for the year 2021/2022 and you could be one of the not so lucky. Well before you think of giving up, have you thought of applying for a student’s loan?
Meanwhile failure to raise tuition remains one of the lading causes of school drop outs at university level. The Higher Education Students’ Financing Board is therefore helping a thousands of students to stay in school with their loan scheme.
Requirements needed to apply for a loan scheme
- Must be a Ugandan
- admitted to pursue a diploma or degree at a listed Higher institution of learning.

- Must be a first year student or continuing student.
