The day was a brilliant one and the timing fantastic, a Saturday evening when Reproductive Health Uganda, the guys organising the Inter – University Dialogue on Sexuality decided to engage students during a popular gathering, porridge night at Mitchell hall, a pre-InterUniversity Dialogue on sexuality event.

“The female condom is too large, it’s like a glove!!” 0ne student was heard lamenting… Issues of sexuality were being discussed and a few games played… furthermore, students were taught about the female condom and how it could be used and tips on how to best use a condom. Students were also given free condoms and free T-shirts.

Porridge is served and the university students with a glad smile all confirmed that they wouldn’t miss the Inter – University Dialogue on sexuality come Wednesday. The Dialogue will be at Makerere University main hall and students from various universities will be present.

Reproductive Health Uganda organises a dialogue on sexuality every year to engage the youth in matter of sexuality and reproductive health that concern them. The aim of #IUDUg15 is to provide a self reflective learning platform that can inform and guide future strategic National Sexuality Education programs and the theme for this year’s Inter-University Dialogue on sexuality is ‘Addressing Sexual Health for a just & empowered society.’
