The academic registrar Mountains of the Moon University has released the first list of admitted students for the 2022/2023 academic year.
These have been admitted under the private entry scheme with another list expected soon.
The applicants that have been considered are required to pay a commitment fee of UGX 50,000 before collecting their admission letters.
Year one students (fresh men) will report for orientation on 15th September 2022, and officially start their university journey.
Formerly a private chartered university, government usurped the responsibility of making Mountains of the Moon a public university.
The university administration believes that tuition fees for new entrants will be low since the government is in control.
