Kahunde Kasfa Adyeeri over the weekend joined the list of University students taking up the crown of Miss Tourism in different regions of Uganda.
She is a student at Mountains of the Moon University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
At the crowning event that happened on August 27, 2022 in Fort Portal city, Ms. Kahunde hailing from Kabalore district was followed by Ms. Kasemire Sylvia as the first runner up with Ms. Musimenta Diana taking up the second runner up position of Miss Tourism Tooro region.
Ms. Kasemire is a resident of Kabarole district and a student at Uganda Pentecostal University pursuing a Bachelor’s of Laws Whereas Ms. Musimenta is doing a certificate in Medical lab Technology at Chemiquip medical school of health sciences and as well a born of Kabarole district.
Other regions that have unveiled their representatives include Bunyoro, Busoga, Ankole, West Nile and Karamoja and the selected queens will join the rest of pageants from all over the country to battle for the crown of Miss Tourism Uganda 2022 at the National Grand Competitions that will be held on 23th September at Kampala Serena hotel.
The Tooro Miss Tourism was graced by seven contestants with Kabarole district dominating this year’s competitions presenting six out of the seven competitors.
The rest of the pageants included Karungi Stacy Akiiki, Ms. Kamuli Jacinta Maria Abwooli, Ms. Kemigisa Rosemary Bridget Abwoli, and Ms. Kobisinge Harriet.
