Makerere University students have taken to their social media pages to mourn fallen singer Moze Radio, from the famous dynamic Radio and Weasel duo. Moze Radio breathed his last Thursday morning at 6am from Case Clinic in Kampala.
Moze Radio is a Makerere graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Pychology. Now, his fellow alumni have this morning taken to their timelines to mourn his untimely death.
“A gallant Makererean has fallen. RIP Soulja, gone but not forgotten. Your music shall forever live on,” Frank Ahimbisibwe posted.
“RIP to my greatest artiste Most talented vocalist to me.oh God why? This is sad news, to all his loved ones and fans may God comfort you….. #Irreplaceable #Radio,” posted a one Rose.
Sophos Jude said: “Enternal Rest Grant 2 Him Oh Lord And Let Papetual Light Shine Upon Him , May He Rest In Peace . Amen”
Lydia Etii Wang eulogized: “I know what i means to grow up without a father..it hurts and no one can fill the vacuum left by a father…and it`s worse for a girl child.Moze`s kids may be young and oblivious of everything but it will soon catch up with them when they realise daddy is no more.He might have been a fighter,hooligan but does not take away the fact that he was a Dad.Rest in peace and m the good Lord strengthen the family.”
Burial arrangements
Fallen singer, Moze Radio will be laid to rest on Saturday afternoon, his Manager, Balaam Barugahare has revealed. Balaam in a press conference this morning said the deceased’s body will be taken to Mulago for a post-mortem report and later this evening, his body will be taken to Radio and Weasel’s Makindye home [Neverlands] for a vigil.
Balaam said that they’re still in search of a catholic church to hold a requiem mass Friday afternoon after which Radio’s body will be taken to National Theatre for public viewing.
He will finally be laid to rest on Saturday at his home in Kagga, Kawuka, Entebbe at 4pm.
