MTN Business Hosts Breakfast Event for Chinese Community

MTN Business, in a bid to strengthen relationships and create advocacy among business communities in Uganda, has today hosted the Chinese community a Business breakfast event at Serena Hotel in the heart of Kampala.

Attended by over 200 delegates including, H.E Zhao Yhali, the ambassador of China to Uganda, the event presented an exciting opportunity for various businesses to interact, and discuss possible opportunities for the future.

MTN Uganda’s Chief Executive Officer Brian Gouldie hailed the strategic partnership between MTN and Chinese firms, that has led to development and advancement of technology and new propositions for businesses in Uganda.

“MTN Uganda is very proud of the relationship that has been cultivated over the years and we’re pleased to share breakfast today as we look back and revel in the successes we’ve achieved together,” he said.

“As we interact today, MTN Uganda has taken a milestone in offering business owners a full suite of cutting edge business solutions to meet all their needs in terms of accessibility, infrastructure, converged communications, security and software,” he added.

“I would also like This month, MTN Business took further steps to consolidate its effort to supporting and enabling businesses in Uganda, announcing business bundles, designed to help offer more value and control for business owners, while enabling them manage their communication costs with greater efficiency.

Such innovative solutions are supported by the recently upgraded 4G/LTE network that now covers all major towns in the country. The continued investment in infrastructure has now enabled businesses to improve their efficiency and will find the MTN solutions attractive for their business growth.

MTN’ s focus is to contribute to the development of enterprises and the sustainable growth of economies in the countries of operation. The MTN ICT Solutions are integral to the company’s strategy to achieve this, particularly as enterprises are key economic growth drivers in most of our markets.

Today’s breakfast is just one in a series of engagements that have been hosted by MTN for the Chinese Community. Last year, MTN Uganda in partnership with Huawei will over the weekend host a one-day Chinese Executive Golf tournament.
