MTN Uganda has kicked off the new year with a wholesome package targeting the youth especially campus students.
The esteemed telecommunication company in the land, on January 2, announced the MTN ACE skill program that intends to equip participants with the right adroitness of tackling societal challenges.
“Think you have got what it takes? Get the right keys to unlock your skill and create ICT-inspired solutions to solve your community’s most pressing challenges. Apply for #MTNACE skill program today on http://mtn.co.ug/mtnace. Deadline: 13th January,2023,” MTN publicized.
MTN ACE is a nationwide youth-centered economic empowerment program that will impact the relevant skills and create opportunities for the youth. The program is designed for fresh graduates, those in and out of school, innovators, entrepreneurs well as tech-driven start-ups.
The programs constitute;
- Ace Tech which focuses on upskilling the youth interested in tech-related innovations.
- Ace Career which seeks to empower fresh graduates with workplace skills and internship placement.
- Ace Skilling which is tailor-made for the youths who are in or out of school to equip them with entrepreneurial skills.
According to the initiators, MTN ACE is an invention of the MTN Uganda Foundation, executed in partnership with; the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance, The National ICT Innovation Hub, Centenary Technology Services, Refactory, MUBS Entrepreneurship Innovation, and Incubation Centre, as well as MTN’s Fintech subsidiary, MTN MoMo Uganda Limited.
