Makerere University Business School (MUBS) 15th Graduation that was slated to take place virtually on July 16, 2021 has been postponed, the institution has announced.
The information was shared through the institution’s social media today morning indicating that a later date for the graduation will be communicated.
“In compliance with the Presidential directives for curbing the spread of COVID-19, the ceremony has been postponed. A new date will be announced as shall be guided by Government on Covid-19 SOPs.” The statement from MUBS reads.
“Students that have fulfilled all graduation requirements for the academic years 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 on the under listed programmes will be conferred with their respective academic awards. Students will be advised on commencement of the Online registration for the virtual graduation.” The statement adds.
MUBS joins a number of Universities such as Kyambogo, Gulu which have pushed their graduation dates due to the new COVID-19 restrictions after all schools and institutions of learning were closed.
