Nexus Lounge, Najjera was ablaze last Thursday during the “Thirsty Thursday” theme night paid for a shuttle to pick up ladies from MUBS Nakawa. The girls were promised free transport and drinks. All the management of Nexus Lounge requested them to do was to “dress to kill.”
In a shocking plot twist, the girls who were excited to turn up and drown in alcohol received the shock of their lives when the lady who mobilised them failed to secure the “Free” drinks they were promised.
These second year MUBS girls were left ‘drinking air’ and passively smoking on the shisha fumes as the guys present were not in their ‘blesser moods.’ Although the girls were dressed to kill, attractively generous, every chap that walked into the bar seemed unbothered and the ladies were left unattended to.
After hours of sipping on the cold breeze, the club management that had brought in the ladies salvaged for the ladies half a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label and ice cubes which the 20 girls had to share. It’s true that you can take the someone out of the village but you can’t take the village out of them. These girls were seen scrambling for the Red Label as it was clear they didn’t master the art of pouring it in the glass. Sadly, they lost some of it to the ground in excitement.
“If they had come earlier when the Happy Hour was still on, maybe our blesser levels would still be alive but now that they came late, let them hustle their drinks. The best I can do for them is give them some shisha puffs,” a one Shawn lamented.
The ladies were hours later into midnight seen sneaking away in disguise of receiving calls and were only seen again outside bargaining for Boda Bodas- packing themselves in groups of four per bajaj.
Next time, girls, come with your own money to avoid such kinds of embarrassment.
That said, you should try out Nexus Lounge, it’s a perfect chill spot after your busy work schedule.
