The much awaited and anticipated Bazaar at Makerere University Business School has finally kicked off.
The event that was delayed by the non-teaching staff strike has kicked off at the packing grounds just opposite the university’s Main Building. The event has attracted many companies and also old students seem to be greatly excited about venturing into selling out their ideas.
The many companies that include Banks like Housing Finance, Centenary Bank; telecommunication companies like Airtel Uganda, Uganda Telecom and Vodafone, Smartphone companies like Itel and Techno, cosmetic companies like Samona, beer companies and so much more entities showcasing their products to freshmen.
The freshers too couldn’t hide their excitement once spoken to by Campusbee; “I look forward to buying what I don’t have and adding on to the collection of shoes I got”, exclaimed a jovial Babirye Racheal a fresher doing Travel and Logistics management.
The Bazaar is slated to take place for a period of two weeks from today till 29th August and will be seeing many events taking place and the ICT minister is to be the guest-of-Honor come tomorrow.
Talking to Campusbee, the Guild President Don Patrick Bugingo says this will be the best and ballistic bazaar of all times and the freshers should expect the finest of bazaars at MUBS.
