Makerere university business school (MUBS) has opened applications for this year’s scholarships for continuing students with first class degrees.
These scholarships were put in place to promote learning by encouraging, supporting and granting scholarships to first class students at the undergraduate and post graduate degree level for further studies.
According to MUBS, the scholarship will be extended to two students from each of the non-specialized Master’s degree programmes, three students from each of the specialized Master’s degree programmes in entrepreneurship, marketing and leadership and one student per programme at undergraduate at MUBS main campus, one student programme at masters and undergraduate at MUBS regional campuses.
The scholarship will cover 100% tuition waiver but beneficiaries will be paying the required functional fees. The scholarship will be valid for a period of one academic year which is renewable once and twice for graduate and undergraduate students respectively, subjected to satisfactory performance of a CGPA not less than 4.40.
In order to apply for this scholarship, one must possess an admission letter to one of the MUBS programmes for the current academic year. The person must not be above 20 and 26 years for diploma and degree/graduates respectively.
Application forms can be picked from block 5 at the reception starting on Monday 7th March 2022.
